DataPlus requires the following hardware
Minimal Server System Requirements:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition
- Windows 2000 Server
- 1.6 GHz processor or higher
- 80 GB of hard drive space
- 1 GB RAM
We recommend:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition
- Windows Server 2003
- (2) 3 GHz or higher processor
- RAID 5 hard drive configuration (size determined by the amount of your data - 80 GB minimum)
- 3 GB RAM and
- For Millbrook users, DataPlus must be resident on the same server as your Millbrook database.

*DataPlus will not run on the same NT server as MegaWest, so an additional Windows NT server may be required for MegaWest users who do not already have another server for other applications. Except for MegaWest for NT, DataPlus is not known to conflict with any other systems on the same server, as long as the above system requirements are met.
The size of your server greatly depends on your practice size and the amount of past data you will import into your system.
DataPlus doe not require a separate / dedicated server (except for MegaWest)*. If you already have a Windows server for another application, DataPlus should be able to run on it, as long as the minimum requirements are met.
DataPlus requires the following third party software (sold separately)
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition - one user license
Each user's PC must have the following
- Windows 98 or higher or Windows XP
- Internet Explorer 4.x
- Microsoft Excel 2002 (XP) and higher
